The iconic destination in London’s West End is home to some of the world’s finest hotels, theatre productions, flagship stores, shopping streets, fashion brands, prime property, amazing restaurants and much more. Westend.com’s mission is to promote London’s West End to a discerning global audience via their platform.
Westend.com approached me with the request of improving their structure and to do a redesign for their platform. In order to do the project I had to do a bit of research into London’s West End, but also on how other cities or shopping destinations promoted themselves. Another challenge for the platform was how to do a design, that would represent the large range of impressive brands, that are located within London’s West End and promoted on their platform, without disturbing the brands individual identities.
From the very beginning I had a vision of how the redesign should unfold, but based on some research changes were made on the outcome, through my vision wasn’t far from the result. These visuals below displays the final design for their platform.
